Terms of Service
Veni, Vidi, Volavi LLC ("we", "us") Effective date: September 29, 2026
These Terms cover your use of www.venividivolavi.com and campus.venividivolavi.com, and any course, membership, or other product you buy from us there. By using either site, creating an account, or buying something, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy.
Veni, Vidi, Volavi is an independent online ground school. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or offered through any flight school.
Who can use the site
You must be 18 or older. If you are under 18, you may use the site only with a parent or guardian's permission and supervision, and that parent or guardian agrees to these Terms for you.
Accounts
You need an account to take a course. Keep your password to yourself. One person per account. Do not share your login, and do not let anyone else take a course on your account.
We may suspend or close an account that is shared, or that breaks these Terms. You are responsible for activity on your account.
Course access
When you buy a course, we give you a personal license to use it. The license is non-transferable and non-commercial. You may not copy the course, resell it, record it, share it, or scrape it. You get access to it for as long as we offer that course on the Campus, as long as your account is in good standing. We may update, replace or retire a course. If we retire a course entirely, we will email you at least 90 days before access ends. Good standing means you follow these Terms, do not share your login or content, and have not reversed a payment you made to us.
Educational use
The courses are educational. They are not a substitute for the Federal Aviation Regulations, current FAA publications, an instructor's judgment, or your own preflight planning. Check current official sources before you rely on course material.
Tests, endorsements, and checkrides
The FAA, testing centers, designated pilot examiners, and instructors decide knowledge tests, endorsements, and checkrides. We make no promise about the result of any test or checkride.
An instructor gives an endorsement only if that instructor finds you prepared. Finishing a course does not mean you will receive an endorsement.
Flight instruction and aircraft
Flight instruction from us is dual instruction and ground instruction only. You arrange your own airplane. We do not rent, provide, or insure aircraft. We do not promise any training location, availability, or schedule.
Your responsibility when you fly
Flying involves inherent risk, including serious injury or death. You accept that risk when you fly.
Whenever you act as pilot in command of a flight, you are the final authority for that flight under the FARs. You are responsible for the airworthiness of the aircraft, the weather, and the legality of any flight you make.
Nothing in these Terms waives or limits liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct, or any right the law does not let us waive or limit.
Prices and payment
The price shown at checkout is the price you pay. Taxes are added if they apply. We take payment by card at checkout through our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Refunds
Our Refund Policy is part of these Terms.
If you email us within 7 days of purchase, we will refund a course when you have passed no more than 20% of the course's modules, as shown on your Course Tracker (send us a screenshot), and you have not taken any course final. That 7-day refund applies to ground school courses, including GS 601 Cockpit Comeback. It does not apply to Cloud Hopper or other memberships.
After that, or if you have passed more than 20% of the course's modules or have taken a course final, the course purchase is final, except under the Pass Guarantee or where the law requires a refund.
The Pass Guarantee is an extra refund right. You cannot receive more than one refund for the same purchase. An approved course refund ends your access to that course.
Duplicate charges, membership cancellation, and shop orders are covered in the Refund Policy.
Pass Guarantee
Pass Guarantee
Veni, Vidi, Volavi LLC ("we") offers this Pass Guarantee on the ground school courses listed below. If you meet every condition in these terms, we'll refund the price you paid for the course.
Courses covered. The guarantee covers the FAA knowledge test listed for each course: - GS 101 Private Pilot: Private Pilot Airplane (PAR) - GS 201 Instrument Rating: Instrument Rating Airplane (IRA) - GS 301 Commercial Pilot: Commercial Pilot Airplane (CAX) - GS 401 Flight Instructor: Fundamentals of Instructing (FOI) and Flight Instructor Airplane (FIA) - GS 501 Instrument Instructor (CFII): Flight Instructor Instrument Airplane (FII)
GS 601 Cockpit Comeback, Cloud Hopper and other memberships aren't covered.
Who qualifies. You qualify if all of these are true: 1. You bought the course yourself, in your own name, and paid for it. The course was used only on your own account. 2. Your Course Tracker shows 100% of the course complete. 3. You scored 80% or higher on the course final. For GS 401, that's the course final for the test you took: the FOI final for the FOI test, or the FIA final for the FIA test. 4. After completing the course, you received the instructor endorsement required to take that FAA knowledge test. 5. You took the FAA knowledge test for the first time within 60 days of the date of that endorsement, at an FAA-authorized testing center. 6. You didn't pass. That means you scored below the FAA's minimum passing score of 70%.
The test must be your first attempt at that FAA knowledge test ever, not your first attempt after taking our course.
Whether to give an endorsement is solely the instructor's decision. If an instructor doesn't find you prepared, you haven't failed a test, and the 7-day refund described in the Refund Policy is your refund right.
How to claim. Email zack@venividivolavi.com within 30 days of your test date with the subject line "Pass Guarantee claim." Include: - your Airman Knowledge Test Report, showing your name, the test, the date and the score - a copy of the instructor endorsement, showing the date it was given - a screenshot of your Course Tracker showing 100% complete, and a screenshot of your score on the course final (for GS 401, the final for the test you took) - the email address on your campus account - a short statement that this was your first attempt at that test
Your name on the test report must match your campus account. We may ask for more information to confirm your claim, and we may check what you send against our records.
The refund. If your claim qualifies, we'll refund the amount you actually paid for that course (after any discount or code, and not including taxes) within 14 days of approving your claim. We refund to your original payment method, and your bank may take another 5 to 10 business days to post it. If we can't refund your original payment method, we'll pay you by check or bank transfer. The refund is the only remedy under this guarantee. There's no additional cash payment, and we don't cover FAA testing fees, instructor fees, aircraft costs, travel or any other expense. When we issue the refund, your access to that course ends.
Limits. - One Pass Guarantee refund per student, across all of our courses. For GS 401, that's one refund even if you don't pass both the FOI and FIA tests. - A course that was free, gifted, comped, part of a scholarship or included in a membership isn't covered, because no course price was paid. - A purchase that was charged back or already refunded isn't covered. - The guarantee doesn't apply if we find account sharing, a false statement or a document that isn't genuine.
Other terms. This guarantee is in addition to any other refund rights in our Terms, but you can't receive more than one refund for the same purchase. We may change or end the guarantee for future purchases. The terms posted on the day you bought your course apply to that purchase. Our Terms otherwise apply.

Feedback
If you send us a comment, review, suggestion, or other feedback, you give us permission to use it to operate and improve the courses and the site. We do not owe you payment for that feedback. Don't send us anything you lack the right to send.
Acceptable use
Use the site only for lawful purposes. Do not share your account, copy or scrape the courses, interfere with the site, or harass students, instructors, or staff. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms.
Intellectual property
We own the courses and the other materials we create. These Terms give you the limited access described above. They do not transfer any ownership to you. You may not use our name or course materials except as these Terms allow, unless we agree in writing.
Disclaimers
The site and the courses are provided "as is" and "as available," to the extent the law allows. We do not promise that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Some laws do not allow certain disclaimers. In that case, the disclaimer applies only as far as the law allows.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the site, a course, a membership, or flight instruction. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for a claim is capped at the amount you paid us for the course, membership, or other product the claim is about.
This limit does not apply to gross negligence or intentional misconduct, and it does not apply where the law does not allow a limit.
Governing law
Florida law governs these Terms. A lawsuit will be brought in the courts serving Santa Rosa County, Florida, except where the law does not allow that.
Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. The version posted on the day you bought a course, membership, or other product applies to that purchase. A later version applies to later use of the site and to later purchases.
