    Sixteen years since the last 61.31-ish stretch of not-really-current. CFI sent me around the patch today. Radio was fine. Flare was late. Grin is still there. If you came back after a long pause: what surprised you on the first solo lap?

    The radio sounding like it belongs to someone else, then belonging to you on the next call. That is normal. Log it, sleep, come back for the next dual before the grin talks you into passengers. Cockpit Comeback exists for exactly this stretch. Proud of you.
